Delete your
Ritz account.

You can permanently delete the account used by Ritz and Ritz Driver from inside either app. If you no longer have access to the apps, you can submit a request to our support team here.

Request account deletion

Email us from your registered email address where possible. Include whether you use Ritz or Ritz Driver and the phone number or email on the account. Never send your password, OTP, PIN, or full card details.

Delete your account in the app

Ritz

Open your profile, select Delete account, then choose Proceed.

Ritz Driver

Open Settings, select Account, choose Delete account, then choose Proceed.

One Ritz identity can be used across both apps. Deleting it removes access to both Ritz and Ritz Driver and cannot be undone.

Before an account can be deleted

For safety and payment integrity, any active trip or vehicle hire must first be completed or cancelled. Any wallet balance must also be used or withdrawn. The app will tell you if one of these items still needs attention.

What is deleted

We remove or anonymise your profile and contact details, login credentials, saved payment methods, push-notification tokens, driver documents, payout information, and other account data that is no longer needed. Driver vehicles are taken offline and the account can no longer be used to sign in.

What may be retained

Limited transaction, trip, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting, or regulatory records may be retained in de-identified form for up to one year, or longer only where applicable law or a lawful preservation request requires it. These records are not kept for advertising or to reactivate your account.

Identity verification

For requests made outside the app, we may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. This protects your data from unauthorised deletion. We will never ask for your password, OTP, PIN, or complete card number.
